Opening Reception for Delegates and their guests

Too many years have gone by since we saw everyone! Come and see your old friends and colleagues, and make new friends and acquaintances!  After an invigorating opening plenary, there will local culinary treats to introduce you to the regional cuisine.

Following breakfast, the opening talks will begin for the joint symposium. There will be concurrent sessions later in the morning and in the afternoon, punctuated by a shared group lunch and snack breaks.

Delegates are free to explore Banff and the region. They can use the day to relax, catch-up with each other, or join an excursion.

In the evening, Delegates and their guests will be bussed to Mount View Barbeque, a short ride from the Banff Park Lodge. At the Mount View location, you are in for a treat of local food, regional music and dance, all befitting of our location in the mountains and Western Canada.

Day-time Talks and Closing Reception

We will take a short walk to the Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre for a very exciting day of closing plenary and invited speakers. No one will want to miss this day!

We will close the Symposium with a group lunch reception of local food.

Everyone returns home, energized and inspired!
